Join the Dayton Adobe User Group and the WPCFUG tomorrow night, Wednesday April 21 to celebrate and learn more about the launch of Adobe Flash Builder 4 and Flex 4. Flash Builder 4 is an application designed to help software developers rapidly develop cross-platform rich Internet applications (RIAs) and content. Flex 4 is an open source framework for developing RIAs. As a part of the Flash Platform, these powerful technologies can be used to easily create rich applications that run cross-platform in a browser or on the desktop.

To help make sense of these new tools, Adobe Platform Evangelist, Kevin Hoyt, will provide a thorough demonstration. He’ll also be on hand to answer any questions you might have about Flex or Flash Builder.

As if that wasn’t enough, there will be free food and drinks to enjoy. There will also be a door raffle for some great prizes, including a free copy of Flash Builder 4, a free copy of Creative Suite (courtesy of the WPCFUG), T-shirts, books, and more!

This is a free event; all you have to do is show up to participate.

Hey! Guess what?!

Lee Brimlow over at The Flash Blog has posted a short (~20 minute) video tour of the currently unreleased Adobe Flash CS4. This looks to be pretty sweet! Anybody who uses Flash really shouldn’t miss this.
